Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
Episcopal Church Women is a national umbrella organization, with parish, diocesan, provincial, and national levels. All parish women's organizations, such as the Women's Guild, are a part of the ECW. In fact, all women members of the Episcopal Church are automatically members of the ECW.
ECW supports many missions and ministries of the Episcopal Church, USA. We seek to provide financial and spiritual sustenance to worldwide needs and to utilize our talents to God's glory.
Women's Guild
First Tuesdays, except July and August: 11 am - 1 pm
The Guild of the Incarnation was formed more than 120 years ago to promote
the ministry of the women of the church and to encourage fellowship and
community. The Women's Guild assists the women of Incarnation to carry on Christ's work of mission and ministry in their communities, nation and world, and to contribute their gifts and talents to the life, governance, worship and work of the church.
We meet the first Tuesday of every month, except July and August for a short business meeting, followed by a potluck lunch and an informative/entertaining program. Membership is open to all women of the church and all members of
the church are welcome to attend the monthly meeting, luncheon and program
held at 11:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.
The Guild holds annual fundraisers to raise money for a number of outreach
organizations such as: The Living Room, Children's Village, FISH, Sisters of
the Transfiguration orphanage, the Humane Society. In addition to these
outreach programs The Guild provides receptions for weddings and funerals.
The Guild has also been active in contributing financial assistance to the
church and for improvements to its buildings and grounds.
