Children & Youth
Child Care
Our nursery cares for children from infancy to kindergarten. Kindergarteners are welcome to join our Godly Play class as they feel comfortable. We provide a loving safe environment for all our children. We have a wide range of toys for all age levels as well as an outdoor play area. Parents are welcome to come and help their children settle in.
In addition to care during Sunday services, we provide childcare whenever there are programs or services at church involving parents.
Sundays 9:15am
We emphasize experiential interactive learning, and community. Teachers are trained and work in teams. We use a variety of curriculums, depending upon the age group. Kindergarten -6th grade uses a Montessori-based curriculum called Godly Play. Godly Play uses beautiful natural materials to tell the stories of our faith, and art and play materials to respond.
Discovery Sundays
First Sundays of each month children participate in Discovery Mass worship. A service that is designed for children, celebrating and including them in all facets of the service. We always have a special treat in Farlander following the service. Please join us!
EYF
7th-12th grades meet weekly for Episcopal Youth Fellowship, Sunday mornings at 9:15 We use a variety of Episcopal curriculums.
Youth group meets for games, discussions and activities second Friday of the month
Homework Club
Children can also participate in "homework club" on Wednesday afternoons 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Contact person: Daphne Vernon. This is offered until May 25th and will pick up again on August 17th for the duration of the school year.
